Famo Metro is the third restaurant in the Famo family. It opened in 2010 and is situated at the heart of Copenhagen by Lille Triangel at Østerbro. Famo Metro is a modern osteria with a light and airy interior, and with a view of the Copenhagen lakes. The restaurant has two floors – the main floor is modern and stylish; the bottom floor is classic and cosy with a little fireplace.

Food

The food you get at Famo Metro is based on classic recipes from all over Italy – but with a twist. The chef and his team work hard and concentrate in the kitchen to make the best and most tasteful dishes ready, made with ingredients that are in season right now. That’s why there is no menu card where you can choose from a variety of dishes. Here, you have to trust the chefs and let them do their magic with their cooking skills and ideas. We import vegetables, prosciutto ham, cheeses and a lot more directly from Italy several times a month – and we also import our own coffee to make the perfect blend that suits our guests perfectly. We do that to make sure that you as a guest will get the full Italian experience with the right ingredients and the right taste. We are very happy about our wine list, and so are our guests. The wines are picked out with good care and lots of knowledge by our excellent collaborators in Denmark and in Italy. Let our waiters guide you to a good bottle of wine – or taste our wine menu that is especially arranged for today’s food menu. 

General info

If there is anything you don’t like to eat, or if you have an allergy, please let us know and we will change the menu for you. It’s also possible to get a vegetarian menu, just ask!
We can seat up to 40 guests in a Private Dining Room in the lower level of the restaurant.

We have a daily menu of 5 courses at DKK 500* per person.
The menu changes daily but always consist of:

Antipasti: small starters served on trays, 5 different kinds
230 DKK

Primi: homemade pasta, risotto or similar
160 DKK (Two servings in the menu)

Secondo: main course – meat with seasonal vegetables
230 DKK

Dolce: Italian dessert
75 DKK

*Following the availability of the season (lobster, truffle etc.) there might be some days when the menu is upgraded and therefore a bit more expensive than listed. .
